South Pointe High School is the third and newest high school in Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA. The school is part of York County School District Three (Rock Hill Schools). It is also one of the 16 largest schools in the state by an enrollment of 1,920 students 9-12.

The Stallion Football Team Competes in Class 4AAA Under Head Coach Strait Herron. The Stallions as of early November 2008 were ranked number 8 in the nation behind the Byrnes Rebels, which were number one throughout most of the 08-09 football season. The Stallions won the 4AAAA Division II State Championship against Northwestern High School on December 5, 2008.
South Pointe offers a wide variety of courses which range from Foreign Language, Computers, Engineering, Art, and core classes. Also for those who want to challenge themselves they also offer Honors, AP(Advanced Placement), Dual Credit, and IB (International Baccalaureate).
South Pointe has an award winning school newspaper, "SPiN" (South Pointe in the News). In addition, South Pointe added an online version to their paper copy of the newspaper, called "SPiN WIRED." The site is said to display the latest news, sports, pictures and more from the school. S.P.I.N.
